PETRONAS is offering full scholarships to elingible students to pursue their studies at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in Malaysia in the following disciplines :
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Petroleum Geoscience
Requirements
Aplicants must be single
  • 17-23 years old as at the enrollment date for the degree programme offered
  • Possess trong leadership skills
  • Active in extracurricular activities
  • Successfully completed the high school examination with distinctions in chemistry, matemathics and physics and two other relevant object
  • Good command of written and spoked english

  • Two (2) copies of high school certificates and university transcrips
  • Other relevant certificates or document to support the application

Sejarah Nama Desa "Karangpoh"

Karangpoh Penamaan desa karangpoh hampir mirip dengan sejarah Penamaan desa Karangturi . Dahulu diceritakan dalam buku berjudul "Sekelumit asal usul nama desa" yang ditulis oleh Loemaksono menceritakan Daerah disekitar Gresik banyak pohon Mangga. Pohon ini dijaga dengan baik oleh masyarakat disana dan dijadikan sebagai mata pencaharian  Penamaan Karang Poh ini tidak lepas dari proses berbuah pohon mangga yang senantiasa mengeluarkan bau harum ketika mulai ranum. Orang jawa menyebut buah mangga yang mulai ranum ini dengan " poh" . Ketika kulit poh yang mulai menguning inilah para petani mulai memanennya. dan dikumpulkan kedalam wadah besar yang terbuat bernama bojog .  Sebagai pegingat dan kenang kenangan tempat ini sekarang dinamai Karang Poh.yang berarti tempat atau hunian yang banyak dijumpai pohon mangga dan orang berjualan poh. Kondisi sekarang tentu sudah banyak berubah kita akan sangat sulit menemukan pohon mangga disana, hanya dibeberapa rumah pe...
